In 2014 Rebecca was approached by the editor of Simply The Best Magazine, out of Boca Raton, FL, and was asked to write a column about dating and relationships in south Florida. The editor’s only request was: “Make it funny”. It was the perfect job for her because she always finds the humor in every situation and has said: “I have a PhD in sarcasm. It’s a real thing.” She continued to write bi-monthly for this magazine for seven years. Many of her articles from the magazine can now be found on her blog: www.heartcentereduniverse.com.
In 2021, Rebecca got her real estate license in Florida and she entered the real estate industry as a sales associate. She throughly enjoys helping people find homes they love, and knows that this industry is a solid choice because in her own words: “Real estate will never be obsolete. Everyone needs a roof over their head.” She also plans to invest in real estate in the future. Visit www.rebeccajbrock.com for more information.
After her son Sammy passed away suddenly and tragically in 2019, Rebecca knew she needed to write a memoir of her experience in order to help other people who have lost a loved one and to show them how they can heal themselves. The profound spiritual awakening she had as a result of his death completely changed her life, and opened up a channel to higher realms where she gained valuable wisdom. Rebecca discovered how to go from a broken down, always sick, grief stricken mother to a love-filled and healed goddess.
Rebecca has just started her second writing project, a screenplay. She also plans on writing a limited series for Netflix about her life. “I couldn’t even write 90% of what has been done to me, for fear of my narcissistic abuser suing me. While I was going through the years of this intense persecution I can only label as Spiritual Warfare, I was completely distraught, it was absolutely brutal. The excruciating pain of deception and betrayal from those closest to me was heartbreaking and almost unbearable. However, it made me into the person I am today; I found strength where I didn’t think I had any and literally became Unbreakable. But my true story will certainly make a juicy show for everyone else to watch! It’s an incredulous narrative, almost unbelievable. But I guess my real life scenarios have a higher purpose: cinematic entertainment.”
Now that Rebecca’s other sons are college age and living on their own, she looks forward to traveling more. “As a free-spirited Sagittarius, I’m addicting to traveling and exploring the world. I just booked a trip to my number one bucket list destination, Peru, for the end of this month. Machu Picchu is considered one of the top locations on the planet that has a prominent energy vortex. These places have a very spiritual significance and are known to be great for meditating, personal reflection, and healing.
Rebecca currently resides in Miami Beach, FL, but is considering relocating back to NYC or even to Los Angeles, CA. “My biggest passion, besides writing, is acting. When I was raising a family, I couldn’t commit to any specific job that took up more than a week or two of my time, which is why I only booked commercials. I never even auditioned for any television or movie roles, as being a mother to my boys was always my first priority. But I had always planned on throwing myself into more acting classes and training to be able to audition for different roles now that I’m more free to travel to different locations, and there is no room for growth as an actor in Miami. I’m quite ecstatic and excited for the next phase of my life, even though it’s a little scary stepping into the unknown. But this is where the magic happens, and the possibilities are infinite!” Her two adult sons are currently living in Israel.
